Prayer is communication with heaven.
God is interested in having a personal relationship with you. An essential part of maintaining a relationship is effective comunication. This is why Prayer is essential. Through Prayer we hear what God is saying to us as the Holy Spirit directs us what to pray about and who to pray for. Prayer is a very powerful exchange between God and man.
